Indeed. I replaced my c. 1980 Hayes Smartmodem 300 dial-up modem for a newer ZTE ZXDSL 831II ADSL2+ modem. And it definitely is better; much better!

I will be honest. If I had to choose between aluminum for $10,000, and vinyl for $7,000, I'd choose the vinyl.

| LED Lights look "cold" I have to say that practically speaking LEDs Christmas lights are good for many reasons...BUT, I AGREE that the light they produce is harsh,
artificial looking and most importantly COLD looking.
Humans senses ARE analog, so it figures that non digital light sources will look better to many of us.
I have YET to see a consumer quality "warm white" LED lamp that doesn't give off that icy blue color at least to some degree. I detest that color! |

Mind you, vinyl siding has exactly the same set of qualities.
You want something that looks like clapboards? Clapboards do a pretty good job of looking like clapboards. You want to use some other material? Then make it look like itself, not an imitiation of something else. |

kudos:11 | We had good White aluminum siding.. MY PARENTS HAD IT REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH PLASTIC VINYL CRAP (It wasnt in bad shape either,NO REASON TO) .. Looks horrid...... (Im my opinion) -- Most houses round here are replacing thier siding with this ugly crap and its sad..... THE WHITE ALUMINUM IS MUCH NICER!!

Just like how cable companies say Fiber optic Internet is bad thing, yet most of their network is fiber optic. On that same ad they say Verizon is A BAD company for having faster internet. . then a few minutes later another ad will run, you can bundle Verizon cellphone service with your cable and yes I know Verizon wireless is partially owned by Verizon. |
