Re: let the speculation begin!
Los Angeles 6 channels already (don't know about channels 7 and 8 on the downstream)
AT&T U-Hearse - RIP Unlimited Internet 1995-2011
don't kill the messenger I saw it on of the other thread here a broadband reports some was asked if they had downstream bonding and they said yes they had 6 and their location said LA so that was what I was going by.
this is what I have in Dallas on SBG6580 with 30 down 5 up
I have a feeling that the downstream channels in my area will be moved out of the cell phone band come next month or early february when we have analog removals as I have had errors in the 780MHz to 816MHz range which is right in the middle of the cell bands not to mention TWC is going to have to reorganize anyway because SDV is from 735MHz to 771MHz and 819MHz to 861MHz leaving no room for a 7th or 8th DOCSIS channel.

Well TWC could add an 8th downstream channel in LA if they got rid of the QAM that is carrying the GAME1 HD and GAME2 HD channels in the former comcast areas and move them to SDV.
