| Modem Rental - Cincinnati, OH Hi all,
I will be moving to Cincinnati and using TWC for internet and TV. Right now, I have my own DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem and wireless router. When I select my services online, the option to use your modem only shows up under the 15mb/s option. The faster services automatically include a rental modem/router/WAP combo (the home wifi is "free"!). I hate those multipurpose modems. Is it possible to use my own equipment without a rental fee on the faster plans? Is their modem required to use the multiroom DVR system?

| TBH, I would call in and set up services that way. Get the price from your online, then call them, they will be able to waive the fee on the phone.
The other option is to go ahead and set up services, then call to add your own modem which will remove the fee. |
