 | [AB] Upgrade to 50 fails I was scheduled for a soft upgrade to optic 50 (vdsl)
I am not getting an IP address and have a ticket in with tier 3
What confuses me is tier 1 said I need a second line
I am in an apartment and have only one line in my suite
I also was not given the 2000 series modem when the tech was here yesterday
He told me I am at 100% capacitance for my current speed
Modem shows 32/3
I am about 1 block from the node |

I didn't think they had started rolling out bonded VDSL yet though?
said by noservicemik :I am in an apartment and have only one line in my suite While you probably only have one pair currently active and wired up, chances are that the cabling into your apartment contains a minimum of two pairs, if not more. A tech would have to hook up the second pair.

Like, I look out my window and can see the DSLAM and yet my wires go 1 kilometer and I can only get 55Mbps sync. -- The more I C, the less I see. |

 | pfak, I am more or less in the same boat. The telus remote is just across the street from my house. Unfortunately, the cable goes down the street, and then back for 1.2 -1.3 Km (estimated) loop. Very frustrating. |
