| WARRIORS: Single minded fury question Up until now I've always played fury using titan's grip. However last night I got a nice 1 handed weapon. Nice enough that I'm going to switch to single minded fury.
A couple questions:
-Does my rotation change? Everything I've read seems to indicate no.
-I need to use 2 one-handed weapons for the SMF 35% bonus, correct? I can't use a 1hand and a 2hand, can I? No mix-n-match.
- I remember the SMF tooltip saying something about the off-hand doing extra damage, but I don't remember specifically what it said. Should I put my better weapon in my off-hand? That seems doubtful, but I thought I'd double check.

It looks like both weapons must be one-handed for the passive buff to be present. There is some interesting theorycrafting going on there but it is outdated. |

The off-hand does extra damage, but keep in mind that it does 50% less (from dual-wielding) before that extra damage. So you still want the better weapon in your mainhand. Also, the only special abilities that use or include offhand damage is Raging Blow (uses both) and Wild Strike (offhand only).

WS hits for less but RB hits about the same, the key is getting your RB into the CS window for huge numbers, my warrior is 445 ilvl with 2 463 BS maces when i get my RB in the window he hits from 66k to 109k depending on timing. but rage is a non issue with SMF which is the point of it. yes it is slightly behind TG but it is still completely viable.

Just picked up the 'Seven Stars' epic sword from LFR. Should I switch to SMF since I can combine it with a Heroic blue sword (sitting in my bank), as opposed to TG with two 2H maces (also Heroic Blue quality)?
Basically wondering if epic/blue SMF > blue/blue TG, as our dps is so dependent on our weapons. |
