I use AVG AntiVirus Pro on my phone and Nexus7. »www.avg.com/us-en/for-mobile
It's the first thing I decided to try and have stuck with it. AVG will also find a lost phone, but I've never tried this feature and have no idea how well it works.

I have the same tablet and I use Avast Mobile Security, which will do anti-theft and tracking. Also, go into Settings, Security and improve the default settings such as require passcode and encrypt device and SD card.

I have Norton Table Security (now Mobile Security) on my LePan tablet. It also includes the same anti-theft coverage mentioned for AVG and Avast.

I use Lookout on my Android phone (paid, not free.)

I like the features and the protection. I really like the latest Signal Flare feature. If my phone's battery is close to going low, Lookout automatically sends a "find me" signal to Lookout corporate. That way I stand a better chance of finding my phone even if the battery is dead.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 and use the free version of lookout »www.lookout.com/ with theft protection what a woot when it goes off. It's simple and quite don't know you have it installed.

+1 for Avast Mobile Security.

The two devices in house use it, as do family/friends.

It's feature rich (more so if your device is rooted) - AV, Firewall, Anti-Theft, etc. and is free.
