The new price was supposed to be $158 or so... got a bill yesterday stating $189.
Best part? Since the Direct forums are no longer here, I have no proof that was the rate I was quoted.
Knew I was going to have problems.. just didn't realize it'd be this soon.
So don't feel too bad, you're definitely not alone in billing issues. Probably prorating perhaps? for some reason people don't get they are billed IN ADVANCE. even though it's clearly stated on their bill. |

(Hadn't been able to even check the bill for the last 3 days due to it being marked 'currently unavailable', and the phone support rep couldn't even find us in the system. (useless)
Turns out we're getting a partial month charge, even though we changed packages on the day of our current promotion expiration. (according to previous bill) Service change even shows the date on it.. so their billing system is jacked up.
Have since just contacted an ex-coworker that works in their billing dept to have it looked at, and she agrees the bill is wrong. (Should be about $20 less than it is, because to quote her, max we should have been billed for is 1 day if the new package didn't apply on the day it was supposed to) |
