Looks pretty good aside from the fact that it has little to nothing to do with the book :P

| reply to crazediamond I just saw the trailer in the theater yesterday, when I went to see "The Impossible"... not a big Pitt fan, but what the heck... it's got zombies, so I'm in... plus, they are fast, crawl over each other zombies, which makes them even more menacing! -- Humanity - The greatest natural disaster of all time. |

| reply to crazediamond The whole "fast zombie" thing really struck me as hopeless back when 28 Days Later came out. If the zombies are able to run, how the hell does anyone stay alive, especially if they are ridiculously outnumbered?
Hyper-speed zombies seems like an even more impossible (can something be "more" impossible?) situation.
But it's a sci-fi movie, so I'll probably watch it when it comes out on DVD. -- "Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H. L. Mencken

For what it's worth, I don't think fast moving zombies or infected would be that untenable,....in theory. As long as they burn out (expire) quickly proportional to energy expenditure it makes sense IMO. |

| reply to Octavean That makes sense, but have you ever seen a zombie in a zombie movie get tired and sit down to rest?
I'd actually like to see that some time, it would probably be hilarious -- "Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H. L. Mencken

OctaveanPremium,MVM join:2001-03-31 New York, NY kudos:1 | No but in the Walking Dead TV series they talked about the walkers being effected by cold, fresh walkers moving a bit faster, older walkers moving a bit slower or becoming lurkers rather then walkers, the lack of eating effectively starving them,.......and so on,......
For the infected it makes sense more so then the dead,....that energy expenditure should have an effect,...
Someone on drugs for example my have greatly improved performance but then they crash,..... |

Rook008Miles To GoPremium join:2002-02-05 Far Rockaway, NY | reply to Octavean I figured that by the time Lori gave birth in The Walking Dead, a majority of the walkers should have burned themselves out. |
