[Modem] New Actiontec GT784WN won't detect DSLI just bought the Actiontec GT784WN to replace my older Actiontec GT724R. When I plug it in, the DSL light blinks constantly. I don't think it's a problem with the line, because the older one can still connect to the internet. It just doesn't have wireless support, which is why I replaced it. I can't figure out why this newer one isn't working when the old one, being nearly identical, does. The DSL service is from AT&T, and has been active for years. |

I'm assuming you are using PPPoE and have entered the same/proper credentials and configuration in the new as the old? |

Yep, even called AT&T to try and get it resolved. Not much help there. |

DOA? Can you take it to a friends house and try it there? |

I cannot, unfortunately. Guess I'll have to try exchanging it. |
