Stamford, CT | MundoFox HD coming Effective Wednesday, January 16, 2013, Cablevision will launch MundoFox HD in the Broadcast Basic package. MundoFox HD is a Spanish-language television network that will produce a weekday evening news program as well as a half-hour newscast. MundoFox will also include sports programming from Fox Deportes, including soccer, major league baseball and boxing events. It will also feature a signature format “teleseries”, which compared to traditional Spanish TV telenovelas have fewer episodes and emphasize more action-oriented storylines and diverse locations. MundoFox HD is a true High Definition simulcast of MundoFox in standard definition.

It's an OTA station (WPXO, channel 34 UHF) that Cablevision was already carrying in SD, so it was either must carry or was bundled in the last FOX contract. |

i didnt even know the channel existed as OTA.
let me rephrase.
useless OTA TV stations with must-carry garbage programming and like-porn infomercials need to be shut down along with the programming director @ CSC.

It's funny watching the difference in reaction that HD channels carried in SD that are foreign channels receive vs the cries for all SD content to be carried in HD that cater to English-speaking people (not just here). |

I don't mind their adding more spanish channels, thats cool appeal to all your customers not just the traditional majority.. though I'd appreciate they making up with Scripps to try and get DIY and Cooking, but doubt that will ever happen... |

Hispanic channels that provide content that is worthwhile to watch, even if its just that hot weather chick on Univision is actually worth it, thats something i can fap to...
Its the stupid must carry channels that have 24 hours infomercials in Spanish about making your "manhood" bigger that are a total complete waste.
