How thinigs are going

ok, after 2 years dealing with Windstream this is my update..

still speeds under 1mb constantly, i pay over 70.00 a month for 6mb

now i'm losing connection about 6 times per day.

contact windstream they say they are not going to send out a tech cause my area is in a "outage"

every month i have to call and complain to get a 10.00 credit..Windstream, can you answer why i've been in a "outage" for 2 years yet i have to call and ask for a credit..??

back to the speed issue, windstream will not send a tech out till my status changes from outage, yet they tell me my service should not be as slow as it is and i should not be losing connection..wtf is the thinking in this..??

honestly if i ran windstream i'd fire all the managment, all the cr's..cause they are to chicken sh1t to stand up to managment

and every field tech that sits on the side of the road all day in the windstream vans cause they are unable to fix a damn thing..

You should absolutely not be dropping connection. Shoot me a PM a when you get a second. Just let me know when you will be home so that I can get a tech out to you. I am not able to see where you talked to any help-desk or Tier I reps. Did you catch the names of the people that wouldn't dispatch?

didn't even think about writing the names down Aaron..the first was last week when i got a add in the mail about the 6mb service being offered in my area now..lol i just had to call and get it, the girl i talked to on the phone set it up and said that it would be faster but couldn't send out a tech about my speed issue i'm having now or connection dropping till my status changed.. i called back 2-3 days after that to ask about a credit and asked again about getting a tech out while i'm home and she basically told me the same thing.. nothing they can do till my status is changed.

WOW. Well she was incorrect . . .I can think of a few other words that I could use regarding that. Let me know when you will be home sometime next week or this weekend and I will get a tech out. It sounds like you were talking to a CSR not Tech Support. I will have a buddy dig in from the CS side and make sure this doesn't happen with that agent again. I honestly do not even see where anyone reached out to Tier II regarding the issue. No one on my side has pulled your account up recently (other than myself).

she never identified her position so i have no way of knowing, i was actually transferred to her from another lady i breifly talked with..she was very nice , but that only goes so far..

It is not just you Bashlin, since about 3-4 weeks ago ours drops 7-10 times a night in the span of 2-3hours. The lag gets so bad that nothing moves until the point you finally get kicked off, when you reconnect you get a whole different IP (not just the last few numbers) and it works again for 15-20 mins.

Send a me a PM with your number please. I would be willing to be that the issue is relate to the outside plant, I doubt very much that it is a provisioning thing.

Yep. Exactly the same thing going on. I have already dropped twice since 5pm. Like clockwork at 8-9pm it'll happen again.
