| [iPad] Connect to power chime indicator When I connect my iPhone 4 to power, it vibrates or chimes to indicate that it's connected. When I connect my iPad (3rd gen.) to power there is no indicator. Both devices are up to date. I like the indicator since sometimes when I charge the device the plug isn't seated properly (yes, I know there's a charging icon on the top of the screen). Is there a way to get the iPad to chime or vibrate, too? Thanks! |

The iPad 3 does not have any indicators; just the battery symbol on the top right of the screen. -- "You can observe a lot by watching". Yogi Berra |

| said by haroldo:I assumed it would vibrate like my iPhone does when I plug it in (the ringer is set to vibrate) But the iPad is not a phone so there's no "vibrate" -- the iPad doesn't vibrate for anything else, does it? But I should think there would be a chime if the volume isn't set to zero and if the hard mute button is off... (compare Settings>>Sounds screens on each, there's no Vibrate section for the iPad). -- ♬ Dragon of good fortune struggles with the trickster Fox ♬ |

haroldo join:2004-01-16 united state kudos:1 1 edit | Figure to out, it was sounds/ringers and alerts. I kept it at mute Thanks all |
