KCrimsonPremium join:2001-02-25 Brooklyn, NY kudos:1 | It might work on me. If I get hooked enough, I might be willing to get a Roku and purchase the other NHL package (the one with MORE HD channels than Center Ice) - its always seemed the better value. |

 | reply to FIOS4cable Its kinda hard to blame the NHL for this. They don't have complete control over this since its owned by INDEMAND. So its not like they can force them to give it us to free this season. Now the NHL center ice online could be a different story since that is run entirely by the league. |

 | reply to FIOS4cable My compromise idea would be a free season to those who have NHL Network! |
 | reply to FIOS4cable This is nothing new. There's always been a free trial of at least two weeks.
AFAIK, Verizon has not said anything about pricing but DirecTV will be four payments of $15.99 for the season. |

$49.95.
I wonder if Verizon will ever pick up the other hd channels. In offers at least 9 hd channels, I believe. |

 | reply to FIOS4cable I had the plan thru Roku last year. Funny to watch games where they used the "jumbotron" feed when there was no tv/ cable broadcast. Waiting to see what the price will be. |

 | reply to FIOS4cable Has anyone done the math? Per game (all), per team, per period (okay per period is a bit to far ) Minus the free trial etc ... |
bohratomJersey Shore will rise again join:2011-07-07 Red Bank NJ | reply to HarleyYac Considering the full seaon was priced at $170 for 82 games its a decent price for $50 and 48 games. Of course one could say the initial $170 for 82 is way overpriced.... |
 | reply to FIOS4cable There were rumors swirling around a week or so ago that it was going to be free (guess not)... Now the mainstream is $50.00. God forbid the NHL and PA miss out on this revenue share after fighting over the fans last cent for 4 months. Instead, their apology to the people who give them an exisistence will be a "Thank You Fans" painted on the ice. Let's hope the folks at MSG avoid that stupidity and offer deep discounts in the fan shops and beer and food. The only thing I'm excited about is finally getting to see Rick Nash in his new Rangers uniform !!! Rangers are going to be NASHTY this season !!!!!
