Heh heh...
I have DS1 on my PS3 and there's this level early on with a slamming door.
I was playing it after midnight, and the door really got under my skin, that and I never quite know what to upgrade to get a definitive edge. I think that's what makes it good.

Halfway down the hall, the music climaxes. You shine your flashlight straight ahead and there is this huge, f*cked up creature rushing you!
