hm @videotron.ca	Canada finance minister apologizes after reprimand »ca.reuters.com/article/domesticN···20130118 Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty apologized on Friday for breaking ethics rules when he lobbied on behalf of a constituent who wanted to set up a radio station, and said it was an "oversight" that would not happen again. ... Hrmph. How about that. Influence peddling only requires a Canadian Government Minister to say, "it was an oversight". Bet not many people know this little factoid in Canadian ethics law that governs Ministers.
