Re: Shaw SLOW speed internet

said by calgryboy :

I am tired of paying for high speed internet that downloads at 3 kB/s, This has gone on for weeks now! Quite frustrating!

Switch over to TELUS, problem solved. No more sharing your Coax Cable Connection with the rest of your neighbourhood. With TELUS, you'll get your own line.

Perhaps, but your own line to where?

I'm pretty sure the line coming off the DSLAM is shared with all the other customers in the neighbourhood.

@sasknet.sk.ca

just like Sasktel, they have your own dedicated line in your home that you not sharing with other user like you do with Shaw. so Telus and Sasktel have the line terminological so that you can use the net with your own line not sharing with somebody else. if you have 15 megs with Telus, IF YOU take the full 15 MEGS, YOU not share it amongs your neighbors.

MAKE SENSE?

Telus has no future whatsoever unless fiber to the home becomes a reality in Canada like Google fiber or Fios.

When the day comes, should Telus name their Fiber offering Felus?

"I wouldn't mind getting some wide Felus sometimes" people will say
