So.... Charter had me on 10 gbit internet for a little????

Okay, so, I pay for the 100 mbit service, And I have over 1200 games on steam, and on my gaming machine (6 monitor eyefinity, i5 2500k, 6970, 3 tb hdd, 2 tb hdd, 128 gb samsung 830, bunch of other stuff), I started to do what I usually do, which is download a bunch of games for a few hours and leave the pc.

I had them downloading at 9 am. I come back at 1 am... And they are done..?

I had at least 3 games that were 10-15 gb. It was a large amount of games. So I look at my network usage.. This photo speaks for itself:

Really? Over 92 gigs in 4 hours?

So if you are local and notice all the internets were taken, it's not my fault. If you didn't notice anything, naughty ISPs lie about congestion then huh?

92.8GB in 5 hours on a 100Mb connection? No problem. You can download over 200 gigs in 5 hours. Don't believe your network usage peak.

Just because ONE person doing what you are doing didn't congest your node doesn't mean it can't have congestion. Also because YOUR mode doesn't have congestion issues doesn't mean others don't. Clearly there have been others posting here that have in fact had congestion issues because of over subscribed nodes.

Steam's network usage counters are not to be viewed as "accurate and real" network usage...

At times on my 30/4 tier, Steam has reported peak speeds around 7-10 MB/s... My router nor network monitor installed on the same computer running steam has never reported a DL rate reaching such levels when downloading through steam..
