Now I have an RCN tech coming out this Sat to check everything out because the person I spoke to on the phone wants them to check my hardware.

67Mb/down at 10:40AM.
37Mb/down at 3:00PM.

1/22
77Mb/down at 6:45AM
76Mb/down at 7:15AM
41Mb/down at 5:00pm

I canceled my tech appointment because it is obviously not my hardware inside the house that is the issue.

this is so weird.. I just checked my speed on the xfinity speedtest website and i am getting 70mbps at 5:45 pm.. why is it that my speeds are high on that website, but not on speedtest.net or the rcn speedtest site?

I'm having the same issue, and customer service scheduled a tech. But could see my levels were good. 25M late late (2-4AM ), but last evening it was 0.71M and drop packets everywhere.

Should I just cancel the tech? This is clearly not my equipment if it works off peak times.

Is there any status on RCN engineering or do we need to seek credits?

i am only getting 5 mbps right now.. it is 6:40 pm

try doing a speedtest early in the morning when you wake up. I just did another one at 7:15am and got 76.8Mb/s down.
when i get home it will be horrible no doubt.
