Seattle may soon have an NBA team anew

quote:
The Maloof family has agreed to sell the Kings to a Seattle group led by investor Chris Hansen, the league confirmed in a statement Monday morning. The deal is still pending approval from the NBA Board of Governors.

Of course nothing is certain until the deal is finalized and the team is here -- which may take years even if everything goes as planned, so the "soon" is measured in years.

There appears to be one more chance for Sacramento minority owners to keep the team with a matching bid.

getting the Key ready fast enough may be the next big challenge
and then, do we have enough fans to pay for 6+ QUALITY (expensive players) professional teams worth watching?
