| [Price Check] Pondering the idea of selling my PC... My current PC is about 1.5-years old. I built it for serious gaming in mind, however, with school starting, and my lack of interest in PC gaming, I feel I could benefit more from selling this machine and getting a laptop instead. Keep in my mind this computer was overlocked for a few months (3.2 Ghz to ~3.8 Ghz - stable). I didn't really utilize this computer to it's max potential I feel and because I wasn't utilizing it (internet browsing, media playback, CD/DVD creation, easy stuff), I defaulted everything back to stock settings.
Current Parts(same parts since the day I built this machine)
Motherboard: Asus Crosshair IV Formula CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 - Black Edition RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB x 2 (total of 16GB in PC) Power Supply: Corsair HX1000 GFX: MSi GTX560Ti Twin Frozr II x 2 (SLI mode enabled with HyperSLI application) Storage: OCZ Vertex3 120GB + 500GB WD Black Caviar Sound: Onboard Network: Onboard Optical: Asus Dual Layer CD/DVD Burner Mouse: Razr DeathAdder Keyboard: Razr BlackWidow Mechanical Monitor: ViewSonic 24 LCD-LED Panel 1080p Case: Antec v3 1200 (Awesome cable management)
If I missed anything, please do let me know and I can alter anything in the list. Like I said, I played GW2 for 2-months or so. I did some light gaming with Just Cause 2. I messed around with a few benchmarks when I first put this machine together. No parts have ever been RMAd. I clean out dust every month or so (front panel dust collector mesh, as well as the inside). I replace thermal paste under the heatsink of the CPU every 6-months or so. All of my components have been treated with utmost care (that goes for all of my builds in the past, Im a very organized/clean person thanks a lot OCD). Im just looking to see what types of prices I can bounce around should I ultimately decide to sell this PC. Thank you very much for any and all responses. |

 | My best guess is around $700-$800 for everything. |

It's nice stuff, but it's used nice stuff.
Probably not what you want to hear, but I'd take the first offer over $500 and run. $400 if you're going to keep the monitor.
Sorry. |
