Wireless Connection with only Coax available

I've been digging through the FAQ's and other posts both here and on Verizon's site, but haven't seen a clear solution to my problem. I'm sure others have had the same issue, but I'm just not seeing it.

Here's the sitch. My house has FiOS internet-only (no TV/POTS). I have very little wireless connectivity in my room, which was an add-on at some point and is therefore separated from the Actiontec router by a brick wall. I have a TrendNet N150 wifi router, and I have configured it correctly (DHCP and firewall off, IP set to an address on the Actiontec's subnet, you know the drill) to connect to the main Actiontec router LAN to LAN using Cat6. I also have a coax connection in my room. I do NOT want an ethernet-only connection to my devices, since A) I have an old laptop with a LAN card that is no longer supported and only gets internet via wireless, and B) I use my phone for most of my internet stuff, and really need the wifi for it.

Since I got the TrendNet for $25, I'd like to just hardwire it over ethernet to the Actiontec, run the cable under the carpet, and be done with it without spending more money. My housemate (we'll say his name is Dick to preserve his anonymity) has balked at my scheme. Dick is insisting that we find a way to connect the TrendNet using the existing coax in my room.

Now, Dick isn't the brightest guy, and doesn't realize that doing so will result in us being charged for two connections. But he's got one of those personalities that aren't particularly easily convinced. So my question is thus:

Is there a way to set up a reliable wireless connection (not necessarily using the TrendNet) in my room using only the coax? I'm hypothsizing perhaps a MoCA bridge connected to the coax with a WAP, not a router, connected to that. I don't want to spend that much money, but I do want to do my due diligence, for Dick's sake.

Thank you all for your help.

That plus a WAP should do it.

The bridge kes601 referred to should do it, but if you make a better attempt to run the wire out of sight not just under the carpet, combine that with a "multiple intermediate device equals green fail" pitch to Dick, maybe you can do it with just the TrendNet.
