Re: Zoom 5341J vs Motorola SBG6580

said by whamel:

I plan on getting the Extreme 50/15 and using the new modem (the Zoom) and keeping my Performance w/ PowerBoost on the UBEE. TV is digital starter w/ HD DVR.
So there is my explanation...

If you are saying that you are going to use two modems on the same account / address then be prepared to pay for two subscriptions (double what you are paying for internet now) ! That is if your particular local system even allows this.

My system does allow this, I have two internet connections as we speak...go to my profile:

No not how I was interpreting it, Comcast made a mistake and forgot to do something....regarding MAC addresses...so I get a good deal.
And yes, you can run two cable modems on one drop, but the entire length is RG6Q (Quad Shielded) so I do get good signal levels. Nevermind the graphic at the top, I was splitting a modem two times that's why ,my Upstream Power is so high...

Be aware that their system auditing (automated or otherwise) will likely catch up to this one day.
