Fibe TV without Inet

Has anyone been able to get bell fibe tv as a NEW customer without their crappy internet? I am not paying $40 extra per month for any slow, low cap internet. As much as I hate Robbers, I would keep my Robbers internet. Its their cable I want to get rid of.

As long as your sync speed is good, the internet is not bad. If your worried about the low cap, tell them you will sign up if you are given the student cap of 375GB as you have a student in the home.

There is a reason I asked if anyone has got it without. I am not paying bell for their slow internet and low caps. I have 75/2 with Rogers now, and pay $49.99 now, plus free modem, with 250 gigs. I can easily burst to 150 down, and sustain it for a good 30 plus minutes. I have 5 people in my household, all of whom are connected to the internet doing various bw intensive stuff at the same time, or at various times. I am not concerned with burst speeds, as I am sustained, and since my wiggle room would be on a good day, 15 down, that doesn't leave much room. I could care less about upload, as we don't do much to care.

Add to my above, I am running voip in my house, and other background, low bw using devices, like xbox, ps3,, iphones, and blackberry phones and 3 tablets, the last thing I want to deal with is a bottle neck, or setting up QOS, network rules etc.

My last reason for not wanting bell internet, is I am sick of this triple play stuff. Personally, its that bundling of items that has started the big screw of the consumer.

Are you in an area that its FTTH or FTTN ? (Bell Fibe?)

Because, on FTTH, with what you say you have as hardware, its a little compare to what i have, and with the 50/50 with 250gb, it even better than anyone.. Im not sold to Bell, but changed from cable to that.. and only have tv and inet.

So i dont think it will be easy to get what you want.. i think some had got it, but it had seem hard..

I wish it was ftth, but its only the fttn stuff. So all they offer is 15 and under

It just shocks me that Bell is willing to loose business over this. I mean, if a guy walked into my store wanting give me money for a product, I wouldn't force him to buy a product he doesn't want, I would just say ok, and take his money for the product he does want!

Yes, some have. But not everyone. It's referred to as "zero rate internet".

See, I tried that, but, the person on the phone said that it can only be given by retentions, and to speak to them, I actually have to have an account. lol

I might try sending a letter to the upstairs management and see if that works, using a little bit of common sense. I think my "walk into the store to buy something" analogy works, but, all big corps like this......logic evades them, most of the time.
