that reverse traceroute tells me one thing, hop 9, erxg03, juniper router. these are known to be very problematic.

Make sure when you use the Looking Glass servers that you set up the Trace to use ICMP data, not UDP. That way your router will actually respond back so you can see the complete trace itself.
Also note that the Juniper ERX is required for the higher speeds. Verizon pushes anyone who is moved above 3Mbps onto them even though the Redbacks could technically support a higher speed with little issue. You just won't be able to put as many customers onto them. |
