F.A.P. for 10 DAYS?!?!? How could I have done that?

So I just got hughesnet a couple months ago, and I noticed that my service was running slow a week or so ago, and I've since read up on my usage via the system control, and it says that I have EIGHT DAYS before I can get back on normal usage.

I guess my question is aren't they supposed to cut you off one day at a time???

I am guessing that you are on the new service with the monthly caps instead of the old daily caps...

As glenalth states, if you're on the new Gen4 system then you're on monthly not daily caps. It does give you more usage flexibility than daily caps, but, you do have to monitor your usage so you don't get FAP'd towards the end of the month.
Does anyone know if you still get decent speeds on the Bonus Bytes (2-8am local) if your Anytime Bytes are FAP'd ??

I still get good bandwidth during the bonus bytes portion of it all. I can watch youtube videos, etc.

What speed to you get while FAP'd?

I don't know what the actual speeds are, but my downloads are capped off at about 9-14 kb/s

Interesting, sounds like the "bonus bytes" portion has it's own separate FAP...
