2WIRE 3800HGV-B

I recently decided to drop my U-Verse and go with Charter (local cable internet provider). I still have this RG and wonder if it is possible to use this as a wireless router along with my cable modem. Can this work?

I would call AT&t, I believe all U verse equipment has to be returned to them via UPS or they will charge you.

If you don't return the RG or STB's you will get a bill for them. I think the RG's go for $200 or $250 these days?
