i have 1996 grand marquis 4.6 liter and first the negative battery terminal burned off I replaced it then the red hot wire terminal started smoking so new battery new starter new alternator now the ground wire to the motor when you try to start it, it just smokes and burns, what would be the solution to make my car run again?

Sounds like the wires from the solenoid to the starter are shorted.

Does the engine turn over? Maybe the flywheel is jammed.

Dang, be careful working around that and wear eye protection. You could get hurt if the battery blows during one of those shorts.

Buckle Up. It makes it harder for the aliens to suck you out of your car.

You have a poor connection somewhere in your electrical system, most likely where the heavy negative cable attaches to the engine. The wire that "smokes and burns"; How big of a wire is it? Can you possibly post a photo?

And, when you try to start it, what happens? Does it turn over, does it grind, does it do nothing?

What about electrical accessories - big stereo or anything aftermarket added?

How about radio/headlights/etc - do other loads work normally, and it's just starting it that's an issue?

Agree with Matt - pic's a good place to start, starting with the battery and wiring?
