Re: FCC takes power away from NIMBY's for temp cell towers I think local governments should be stripped of their authority over cell site placement completely and jurisdiction over cell tower placement and design should be with the state Departments of Public Utilities to have a central authority at the state level as opposed to have fight every city council, zoning boards, board of selectman, etc. Giving local cities and towns too much control creates too much red tape for economic development. The city I live in is so corrupt that the less power they have, the better. |
