Having a problem viewing Updated Posts

I always had a little yellow dot to click on to access my posts (threads). Now, it turned into a yellow star and when I click on it, it only shows me two pages. When I click around here and there I found the option to go back 180 days, but when I do I have a list with individual posts instead of the threads! I'm finding this very frustrating.

I also noticed recently my option to email replies was changed to "nope". I went into my account settings and was able to change that. For a short time I was able to see my updated posts as threads, but now I see them as threads for 2 days or to get the 180 days view I have all individual posts. What's going on?

EDIT: When I click on updates it just says nothing was updated, and no posts are visible. When I click on "all" I get the threads like I want them, but only two pages. When I click on "posts" I get the 180 day option, but in individual posts and I don't think it shows anything updated - it doesn't because I had a response to a post yesterday and it didn't show up - I think I clicked on Updated and happened to see it. Is it possible to click on "all" and really get all of the posts?

How can I fix this?

Sincerely, Libra

There are two "updates" tabs. They are different. Maybe you clicked the wrong one.

I am using the leftmost one, and I have not noticed any recent change

Thank you for your reply. I'm looking at the various tabs now. If I click on either of the "updates" tabs, I only see one post and under that it shows my favorite forums (pick favorites).

When I click on the "all" tab that's what I want, but it only shows two pages and 35 topics. I want how the "all" shows the topics, but to go back further.

The tab "posts" lists every post individually (which I don't want) but it DOES give me the option to try 180 day horizon (which I want).

Okay, I found "your topics" and selected the 180 horizon. That's good. But, if I close the tab and click on the yellow start (updated posts) I am at the tab "held". Is there any way to have the updated posts open to "your topics" with the 180 day horizon?

If not, at least I know how to find it.

Previously, my updated posts always showed all my posts. A few days ago I noticed when I made a post it didn't show reply notification by e-mail. I went into my settings and fixed that, but I ended up with this problem trying to find my posts.

Sincerely, Libra

For me, the "posts" tab has an entry for each post I have made (perhaps over a limited time frame).

The second "update" tab has an entry for each thread that I have posted to, but only if the thread has been updated since I last read that thread.

The first "update" tab is similar (I think) except it also includes thread that I have selected to follow, whether or not I have posted to those.

And the postlist page remembers which of those tabs you used most recently, and makes that the default tab on the next visit. However, the "votes" and "voted" tabs are not remembered.

I might have some of the above details wrong - I'm going by memory and have not retested everything.

Where was this "little yellow dot" located? (Was it on the minibar? [where the /postlist star icon is by default])

The 'All' tab is supposed to list all of the topics that you've posted in but only for the ones you're still following (which happens by default). If something happened (as part of that strangeness last week) to remove your 'Following' attribute for those topics, then you can get that back by going into your posts again manually and clicking on 'Follow' (down at the bottom of the topic/thread).

Hi NotTheMama!

Yes, the little yellow dot was on the minibar where the yellow star now resides. What happened last week?

I'll stick with the "all" tab - it shows the threads as I like them with arrows showing new posts. If I come across other posts I'll add them as "follow". I was looking for important information and had a difficult time finding it.

Thank you.

Sincerely, Libra

Any number of things: »Some issues now?

Specifically, minibar customizations, which for you could have been a direct link to your 'All' tab. There was some other weird stuff, too.

Thanks for the link, I'm reading it now. That must have been my problem.
