Restart your cable modem and see if it syncs at a higher speed.

Just restarted mine but no change. That speed test on that other forum could be a glitch or possibly a test market.

it make sense for them to but maybe its just powerboost i dont know

considering the 30/4 tier costs the same on resdential and bussnuss they need to differentiate them

If the 8 down 3 up is true, I'm guessing 150/25.

I sent a pm to op in link. They are on a business tier and got upgraded. But, I see Charter advertising 50mb/5mb for business right now. So, I don't know...

well current bussnuss tiers im aware of are 30/4 50/5 and 100/5

orginaly just about a month ago they had tiers 20/3 30/4 50/5 100/5

they got red of the 20/3 and lowered the price on all there tiers im guessing the op on that forum was orginaly on the old 30/4 but moved the 50/5 for same price

Yep,
Still 30/4 here also, although running pretty crappy this morning, so far.

As someone who is using a Docsis 2 modem, another 8Mbps doesn't matter to me!

What is the 100mb/5mb getting now?

The orginal poster deleted their original image. I have seen occasional speedtest wierdness where it obviously reports incorrect speeds (for example Speedtest.net always doubles my upload when I'm on VPN, timestamp calculation issue or ???)

My buddy on 30/4 reported a 83mbps down / 4.5 up result on speedtest.net on the 27th, but he hasn't been able to repeat it since...

I'm glad to see that a lot of you get nice ping times.

I average ping times of about 80 ms.... usually a bit more.

So honestly even with 30mb or more it gets cancelled out by crummy pings.

I think you should change the title OP. He/she said it was for business class. Here's my speedtest, nothings changed. :/

On the 30/4 residential plan.

Way before we had 100 mbit, when it was 60/5, business class was updated to 100/5. I think the title should stay the same, as business class becomes consumer later on.

Re: [HSI] 30mb/4mb service has NOT been upgraded to 50mb/5mb

I was going to mention it yesterday but didn't.

Why are we thinking Charter upgraded anything going by what someone posted in the nvidia/evga forum for?

I've posted a few speed tests where I was over a 100Mb download and I'm only on the 30/4 plan. Anyone with any sense knows also that if it was a flash based speed test, it probably was inaccurate as heck anyway!

What the hell are you talking about? So your speed test shows some outrageous number like 52.09 down and 5.28 up.

Who said anything about this site being any better? Better at what is a question for you, seeing as how I mentioned NOTHING about this site. If you were talking about the Charter test, that one is most DEFINITELY as inaccurate as hell!

Whether you're on the 100/5 plan, which means your speeds suck, or you're on the 30/4 plan which means it was screaming at that time, flash test are all as inaccurate as hell and anybody with a brain knows that!

So, if you're on the 100/5 plan, which it appears you are judging by your upload speed, you aren't doing a whole lot better than me on the 30/4 plan. Tell me how that's accurate?
