 | reply to JimThePCGuy I found the SIP setting to be entirely ineffective; we still had QOS issues and I eventually had to abandon the SIP trunks for a PRI. |

1 edit | Well, there is more to it then just enabling the check box. - the BWM is managed for egress traffic only - you need to set proper egress speed for your WAN interface first in order for any BWM to be effective

 | Interesting. And disturbing. I actually called ZyXEL U.S. support about it and was told, very specifically, "Check the box. That's all there is to do and all you can do."
That said, I did set the inbound and outbound speeds as well. We really, really need to get to a point where we have across the board QoS for things, like SIP/VoIP, that need it. |
