Still Showing 100% Full But Am I Really?

When I look at the system control center, my chart still shows 100%. It's been this way on and off but on for the last couple weeks or more. So am I really free to use all I want while it's still showing 100% full or could I wake up to find myself with 0% free even tho it showing me 100% free?
Trying to go to customer care/tools and view my usage doesn't work. Says there is no such SAN which is hogwash because TS and I just used that same number 3 days ago to print out ALL 10 PAGES IT TAKES TO GET A $50 REBATE!!!!!!!!!

I've just taken to going to You Tube, starting a download, and watching the bucket. If it doesn't go down I just go ahead and do whatever I want, checking the bucket now and then.

I know at 6:30PM PST it wasn't going down. At 9:10 it still isn't. I suspect that between 10 & 11 is when it will start.

Is the "bucket" you're referring to the green pie chart on the System Control Center Page? That's all I have to go by. If that is supposed to be an indicator of your usage (and I know it is) but because HN can't get their ducks in a row then it shouldn't be mine (or anyone's fault) if they go over the limit.

Monica - my system control center stopped showing usage a coupla weeks ago. However, the support center - »my.hughesnet.com/ - was accurate. However....... it's currently down for maintenance, and, typical for HN there's no helpful message, just an "Internal Server Error" message.
Now that Gen4 has a monthly rather than daily cap it's more important than ever to track usage, and, they be makin' it harder than ever *sighs*

They don't have a leg to stand on if they're not making available the info to track our usage and try to throttle someone back or charge an additional fee. The System Control Center is where (I) have always kept up with my data usage and it's where the installer told me to check. I'm going by that. How can they show two different results and expect the customer to judge which one is correct? I'd be living under a bridge if we treated our customers like HN treats theirs.

and couldn't do it. This time I called ts and was told to get the myhughesnet by way of customercare. Whatever! I finally get to my acct info at myhughesnet.com and have a pop up box that says, "We've noticed that you have used more than 100% of your monthly bandwidth allowance of 0.0MB.

So I have one HN page that is telling me I've used NO data and one that is telling me I've gone OVER my data usage (which would be the first time in the 7 years I've been with this stupid-ass (can I say that?) company)!
Naturally, the first person to answer the call at ts couldn't resolve the issue after 10-15 minutes so she transferred the call to someone else. I'm told that yes, I should use the SCC to monitor my data usage, not myhughesnet.com, because it's "the interphase of the modem" and correct. REALLY? So after 30 days I've REALLY used NO data? She actually answered "yes" to that question. She never acknowledged that they're still working on the system, that they don't have all their ducks in a row, just that the SCC is the page to use as the most accurate data usage information. OK, then. Have it your way! I have the case #, name and quote. She also informed me I have 13 free and prepaid (part of my contract agreement) tokens. I'll NEVER use them. I wonder how much they'd bring on the Black Market

Monica, look on your SCC today. It is completely changed. No more pie chart. Don't know if the data is correct now, but it sure is different!

Notice where the bar for bonus bytes is, it says "unlimited." Does this mean now there is a free download period?

The pie chart is gone for me as well, now I have bars. It seems they updated the status page with the last update. It also says unlimited bonus bytes, not sure if they changed their policy to match Excedes unlimited time. But I did notice the anytime allowance has stopped refilling.. its been going down steadily all day.. I guess I won't complain, it's been resetting for the past 4 months.

The always full pie chart is now gone and the green bar is showing usage. I haven't looked to see if the blue one depletes or not but it fills back up each day, right? I still haven't figured out this new way of how the data usage is configured and read. Everything here as been going smooth as clockwork till a few days ago. Pages load fast initially, but any other links clicked on the site take forever if they even do load. Been waiting for it to clear up. Rebooted the modem. Looks like it's time to call worms that call themselves tech support!

I don't know if I'll call today or not. I also need to call the IRS. Yeah, I'd rather talk to the IRS. They're more reasonable and speak my language.
