My kid just got an ipod touch 4th gen so I'm left to play with his old 2nd gen.
I can see why he wanted to upgrade. You can't get any apps for this thing because they all require ios 4.3! I'm stuck on 4.2.1.
What can I do with this thing? All I need is facebook, scrabble, and a few other apps to be happy. Is there a way to get old versions of the apps that will install?
I did jailbreak the device and install cydia. Where do I go from here?
reply to jjoshua It's been slow going but I managed to find some older versions of the apps that I need and I can use iFunBox to install them on the ipod.
reply to jjoshua I agree with loading it up with music and keeping it as a spare music source...or a primary music source in a vehicle with an appropriate input.
