iphone air control

Anyone use Ubnt control on iphone

Works great: I see a list of subs, signal, the map works, links, but
if I try the connect tab (greyed out), won't work.

Can't log in to any radio. Any ideas?

thanks

no answer on ubnt forum: looks like I'm the only one using it?

How are you supposed to log in to a radio (on your phone) unless you have a VPN connection of some kind or are inside your own network.

Which would be doable with an iPhone. What app is being discussed here?

Yes it is doable. But he made no mention of it was all.

Also if this is the AC2 version, that portion may not be turned on yet. I have stayed away from AC2 since it wasn't ready yet to begin with.

Interestingly, looking at UBNTControl on iTunes, the connect button is greyed out in the screenshot. I am guessing this is the app being discussed.

In the second screen shot, the connect appears to be greyed.

I guess I'm missing something, but I don't see anything to indicate that the app allows you to log into a radio.

"Description

With UBNTControl you have your wireless network always available. In connection with an existing airControl Server you can monitor the state of your Ubiquiti AirOS devices anytime and from anywhere.

Functions:

- see all AirOS devices at a glance
- get comprehensive information about the current configuration
- determine positions and see connections on the map
- add devices manually
- activate devices for monitoring
- restart monitored stations

This app requires an existing airControl Server, which has been set up correspondingly. For public availability via internet, additional settings may be necessary.
UBNTControl only displays information that have been specified by the user in the airControl Server."

sorry was working for a few hours!

It is the iphone app in itunes: I can log in remotely, all works, map too
Connect is greyed out even if I log in on site at the server (wifi)

I use the Dude on too: have more ubnt

I use TikTool lite and TikTool 1st aid

Why is the connect button there?

Pure hunch ... [CONNECT] is greyed out because changing radio settings via airControl server is being debugged.

I am curious which radio settings are displayed if you press the [SETTINGS] button for a particular radio.
