And...the ADSL+ version can't support POTS or video. It's just a way for them to get out from under some archaic regulations and labor contracts. But they still call it U-Verse and you have to deal with the same idiots to order it as the full-VDSL areas do.
have to concur with this. visited a friend in North Carolina and they were "sold" what was called by ATT "U-verse " which actually is their pitiful DSL offering and lied to about potential performance issues. Their Connection continually goes out (Way too far from the CO on 40+ year old Copper lines) and yet they say nothing is wrong.
My point is....While we are used to thinking uVerse was a much faster product, AT&T has rebranded slow DSL as uVerse to hype up the uVerse footprint to give the illusion how just gosh dawn great the coverage is now (overnight).
