| What is this stuff growing on my stones? Anybody knows how to get rid of this? Looks like mold or mushrooms or something growing on stones next to a house. |

Don't try to edge between the rocks -- it will just create erosion. I think what you have now looks really nice. |

Some are. Many aren't. My HOA handles snow removal when it snows more than 3", mowing the grass in the common area/park, street lights in the neighborhood, and signage. The city's neighborhood code enforcement handles grass that hasn't been mowed and they don't cite houses unless it's at least 6", if not 8" long.
For everything else the HOA basically minds their own business, the way it's suppose to be. |

Rocks, with lichens. People actually pay big money to have rocks like that moved to their property and used as landscaping.
It's harmless and actually considered aesthetically pleasing.

Glendale, AZ | Some (most) HOA do not allow burning of grass.
Not as much any more but it was quite common to burn off the dead bermuda lawn in the winter to dethatch them in AZ. |
