this is kind of a good thing as it allows the bandwidth from the node to the premises to handle more constant speeds that are going higher and higher by the year TWC is now offering speeds of 75Mbps and 100Mbps in some areas and people are biting at the new speed tiers which means that powerboost needs to go away to support more traffic on the network.

I've always thought that Powerboost is a silly gimmick. I'd much rather get 15 Mbps constantly, than 20-25 for a few seconds and back down to 10 Mbps for the rest of the time.

Yea, besides, TW seems to be overprovisioning the plans by about 5-8Mb anyway. I actually top out at 57Mpbs on my 50/5 plan.

here over provisioning on 30/5 is more like 32/5.
