Novatel external antenna jack connector

I have bought two different brands of antenna adapters for the Novatel 6420LE and neither one make a tight connection. I have resorted to using a thick rubber band to press the connector against the jack to get an signal from the external antenna.

Has anyone found a good adapter that makes a snug connection?

Remember - Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades . A close adapter can damage your device !!!
