I was on the ladder today pulling down as much snow as I could from the roof of our attached garage. The house roof has a pretty steep pitch so there was very little snow left over.
I just turned my snow shovel over and "raked" the snow off. No need for a fancy roof shovel.
I also spent part of yesterday clearing the snow away from the perimeter of the house. -- "It's all coming down!!" - Mike Holmes
My roof doesn't have a real steep pitch. I'm guessing it rises about 8 feet as it goes back about 25 linear feet or so..(50 feet in total). The back end doesn't get as much snow.
