Re: Special Weather Statement for Ontario The snow removal in the downtown core is well underway in Ottawa, and the 25+ cm will be gone by the time the morning commute happens. However, adding more snow/ice pellets, and then six hours of freezing rain, will probably make for an interesting afternoon commute, mostly due to people who scrape off a matchbox size piece of front window "because I'm always home 35 minutes after I leave work" rather than taking the time to scrape ALL their windows.
