#BellLetsTalk Initiative Here's Your Chance to cost BHell

Every tweet/retweet to #BellLetsTalk is 5 cents donated by BHell. Now's your chance to get even with BHell and help end the stigma and help fund mental health initiatives.

#BellLetsTalk

Works for every "share" on FB too

So far today...

#bellletstalk has surpassed 30million texts, tweets and LD calls! Totally viral!!

As much as we like to bash Bell I don't think we should be in this case which is all around a good cause.

Whoops... I'm still in texting one word at a time mode to make Bell donate even more money.

1.65 million... they blow their nose with that. You'd need somewhere in the vicinity of 1 to 2 billion for them to take note

They have already donated 5 cents for every man, woman and child in Canada. Going for pets now.

The cause may be good, but I doubt Bell's intentions are. Posted this in the Bell forum earlier,

Undoubtably a tax write off as well but really the money raised going to mental healthcare is badly needed

Sorry, but this will NOT cost Bell anything at all. It can only benefit them through free publicity, brand reinforcement and charitable tax incentives.

I'd beg to differ there. If enough people were to tweet, re-tweet, etc, it could actually cost Hell Telecom. That being said though, they probably know their market quite well to be able to predict for such things. As for the publicity aspect of it on the other hand, there isn't enough free publicity that Hell Telecom could possibly get to make enough people want to go with them... There just isn't

Do the math. A million Tweets is...

Fifty thousand dollars.

Now calculate that against all of the free publicity they've received via every possible media outlet including the news.

Even when you factor in all of the donations from all qualified platforms (text, calls, Tweets), while it may add up into the millions, it's still much less than the cost of a national campaign.

And will we ever find out how much money each charity will have actually received? Or is all that locked behind non-disclosure agreements?

#BellLetsTalk Your Vertical Integration Strategy is causing mental health issues in Canadians, and its made worse by bill shock, high prices and broadband caps.
