Now calculate that against all of the free publicity they've received via every possible media outlet including the news. Even when you factor in all of the donations from all qualified platforms (text, calls, Tweets), while it may add up into the millions, it's still much less than the cost of a national campaign. And will we ever find out how much money each charity will have actually received?
