That AC unit is not being done any favors. That's a significant reduction in airflow through a machine designed with a specific airflow to run properly and reliably over time. |

That AC unit is not being done any favors. That's a significant reduction in airflow through a machine designed with a specific airflow to run properly and reliably over time. they only have about one third of the total output covered, so it's probably because causing any significant issues with airflow. |

kudos:4 | Yes, about 1/3 of the coil now has greatly reduced airflow. It'll probably do OK, but certainly nothing anyone with advanced hvac knowledge would do. |
