[BC] 50mbit plan, speedtesting at 170mbit?

I'm not sure what's going on, as I've been a BB50 user for the past year or so. Today speeds have gone crazy and are peaking just above 170mbit on speed tests. Has shaw done some silent upgrade without notifying people? If not, do I call CS in case my account is somehow flagged as the much higher priced ones? I haven't been downloading much of anything this month, so it's definitely under 50gigs total month to date.

Can check the Account history in the online customer care, to verify you haven't be upgraded yourself, it is text and somewhat confusing to read, but should tell you if something has changed.

Well the account shows no changes, and it's up to 243mbit today, so it looks like either they're testing out bb 250 randomly I can only guess.

Doesn't make sense they'd be testing faster speeds, without letting you know about it first...

Is your upload near the 15 mbps range too?

Well, update must have happened, back to 50mbit. It topped out at 193mbit this evening, something must have went screwy in the system for two days
