Red cups with the funny rim back at Timmie'sSo far 0 for 2, I grabbed a cup this morning on the drive in to a call; then returning I brought coffee home. |

I did some end-of-summer car cleaning in October and found a bunch of them under my seat.... can you use old ones from previous years? |

I predict I will be 0 for 0, but I will see the cups all over the place on the ground. |

Unless they look the same, they typically have expiration dates.
Just saw they have "Free coffee for a year"', which they define as 6 $100 Tim Hortons gift cards. |

Is there anyone else here besides me that isn't a fan of Tim Hortons? If I have to get a cup to go, I much prefer McDonald's coffee. |

I usually brew my own, get McDonald's when out on the road. But often with coworkers we will meet at a local Tim's as they are more frequent. |

LOL - that's not much, but their idea of quality coffee isn't up to much either. Timmies is becoming more niggardly in the prizes they hand out. |

I switched to McDonalds a few years ago... the one near my office has a "McCafe only" counter and it's way faster than dealing with the hoardes at Tim's.... Coffee's better too.
Still nothing beats Dunkin Donuts for me though... |

McDonalds is hot or miss for me, the places that have the McCafe counters usually are good; but some of their drive thru's have no concept of close the lid.
Also occasionally I'll get a burnt taste. |

I can't stand either of those coffees. We have an espresso machine at home, so I will just drink that.
On the rare occasion that I do drink coffee outside, there are two small places next to my workplace, one is a pastry/dessert shop, the other is a chocolate artisan shop where they make their own chocolate. The coffee at those places is same price as Timmie's, but the quality is a million times better as it's freshly ground and prepared on the spot. |

Of the major chains, I prefer Timmies... Starbucks is too bitter; ditto for Timothy's.
McD's is pretty decent; and I really like Robyn's, but they aren't anywhere to be found in Southern Ontario anymore (Marathon is about the closest they come anymore...) |

Have a nice Delonghi drip + expresso maker. It gets used once and a blue moon, now my French press gets a workout 4-5 times a week. said by Anav:First cup, and I get a free donut. Yechhh. Give it to someone homeless, about the nicest thing you can do with a Tim's "donut" said by LazMan:Of the major chains, I prefer Timmies... Starbucks is too bitter; ditto for Timothy's.
