Sorry for the newbie question, but just got my DSL and T-Online account information. I have Win98 and used RASPPPoE to configure the DSL connection. I noticed in a previous post that it was not necessary to use the T-Online Software in order to access e-mail. My question is how do you alias your e-mail address without the T-Online Software? If this question doesn't make sense, this is what I'm trying to do... I'd rather have a useful e-mail address like smith@t-online.de instead of 0198763-0001@t-online.de (the default T-Online gives you).
Another question I have is without the T-Online software how do you change your password?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

These pages will only work correctly, if you disable the proxy or put *.t-online.de on you proxy exclude list.

Click on "Mitbenutzer verwalten"
Click on "eMail-Name einrichten"
Click on "eMail-Name (eMail-Adresse) einrichten"
Enter your account password in the field "Web-Kennwort"
Click on "Weiter"
Enter the new alias in the field "neuer eMail-Name"
Click on "Weiter"
(If your alias is not available, try another one)

Click on "Weiter"
Enter your old account password in the field "Ihr persönliches Kennwort"
Click on "Weiter"
Repeat your old account password in the field "Aktuelles persönliches Kennwort"
Enter your new account password in the field "Neues persönliches Kennwort"
Repeat your new account password in the field "Neues Kennwort bestätigen"
Click on "Kennwort ändern" |
