Gma44 join:2013-02-25	Question for any fios networking gods.... Hello. New to the forums and have novice level networking skills. But I have a question for any of you amazingly brilliant minded networking gods. I have read all the FAQ on adding a router to an actiontec fios router and think I can handle all the setup once my wireless n router arrives. My question may be completely stupid but I can't seem to find the answer using search. The question is once I have hooked up the wireless n router to the actiontec and completed configuring it, can I use the LAN ports from my wireless n router as well. I mean I get I can use the wireless but will the other available LAN ports work as well. Thank you in advance for all your advice.

dmine45 join:2002-11-03 Fredericksburg, VA	reply to Gma44 Yes, you can use both the LAN ports as well as wireless. In my situation, I have two Actiontec routers in a master/slave concept. For both, I'm using the wireless and wired ports. That way I have whole house coverage wirelessly and can can also have computers hooked up to the wired connections for those devices that don't have wireless connections. The FAQs help a lot!
