Installation fee??? Upgrade costs are higher?
I am a bit confused as to the costs for upgrading from 6mb line to the 15mb one in Ontario. I need a dryloop and thus decided to upgrade. Initially I was told no charge by the person that helped me. Half way through the month I received a call mentioning a $85 upgrade fee.
I went to the site and it stated $69.99 for install and $85 if there was a change of address.
I'm as confused as the person that helped set me up who really didn't know his stuff. It's bad enough that I have to pay after being told I didn't have to but I am being overcharged.
I thought speed changes didn't cost anything... Maybe DSL --> ADSL does have fees...

And only $49.99 if you buy ebox's modem.

From legacy to FTTN the fee is 85$ because this is a change of technology and require automatically a tech visit from telecon.
New client, get to pay 50$ when they buy a modem or 70$ when they don't + 1 month upfront.--

Maybe you can just cancel your service then order a new install on April 1st for 70$ since it's a news dry line.
