 | Do you have a ball mouse or optical mouse? What kind of material is the mousepad made of? (hard top or soft top)
I'm thinking if you have an optical mouse with a soft top mousepad, maybe still a little water is still in it causing the reflection to be off a little bit.

 | The mousepad says it's "Made of a special foam technology called SBR", so maybe it is holding the water like a sponge.
The good news is that mousepad is $4.99. -- Therapy Chicks |

Re: After washing mice Pad what ever the problem is, washing the pad has diminished the surface that the mouse senses. It may be because it is still wet as far as the mouse can tell, or there may have been a film that was stripped with the soap.
Aside from making sure it is dried, you have 2 choices. A new mouse pad, or a new mouse. The mouse you have is probably an optical mouse which uses a camera eye to watch the surface closely. These eyes are notorious for being picky about some surfaces. Newer gaming grade mice are using lasers again (the old laser mice requires special pads with a mirror finish) that feed into a sensor much higher resolution and should read your mouse pad no problem. |
