New simple broadcom modem: suggestions?
Since my ST516v6 just died, I'm in the market for a new one. Since Hell's hardware is all Ikanos, I'm looking for a modem with a broadcom chip.
The modem doesn't require fancy stuff. I have a nice router doing the PPPoE, so just bridge mode for the modem. However, I'd like to see plenty of line stats.
Should I still go with a new ST516v6 (a local store has a few left in stock)? Or would the D-Link DSL-520B be a better option for 6$ extra? Any other decent low-budget options?

This question would be better asked in your ISPs forum - if you respond with who that is, I can possibly move the thread.
This forum deals with PCs - not modems.

As mentioned, I'm on Bell's hardware. Might as well put it in there, since it's the biggest forum.
