router "you have set the wrong dynamic or static ip address

So I got my Start service up and running today and it's working extremely well when connected to the modem directly.

When I try to use my router (Asus WL-520GU), I cant get connected to the internet.
When I do a hard reset to factory settings, it works for the connected computer, but as soon as I set up my wireless network settings, the router loses connection to the internet completely and the router gives the error "you have set the wrong dynamic or static ip address"

Is there some sort of DNS/ipaddress setting I need to change in order for my router to work with Start? I know DSL requires pppoe settings to be set, but I am using Start's Cable service.

Re: router "you have set the wrong dynamic or static ip add

When you are configuring the router from your computer, set the static IP of your router.

To do that go here: »windows.microsoft.com/en ··· settings

I have seen that happening, somehow it's an issue with DHCP not pulling in proper IP address.
